Craigslist Becomes the Hot Spot for Finding Phils Tickets

Who would have thought that come mid-October the Phillies would have the hottest tickets in town?

 

Well they do and this year's World Series tickets can be hard to come by, if you don’t know where to look.

 

You might want to stop perusing Internet sites with prices wilder than Mitch Williams and check out Craigslist.com.

There are some nice advantages to using Craigslist.

• The site is very personal and let's you reply to posts from real people.
• The site is easy to navigate making transactions, exchanges or straight up purchases easy.
• The best part is that most of the sellers are local, so you can meet them in person for an exchange saving you postal costs.

A word of warning about Craigslist: The site can be your savior with plenty of ways to haggle staggering prices, but it can also be the devil (no pun intended) -- if the price looks to good to be true, it probably is.

Also, beware of scammers selling fake tickets.
