The Phillies busted out their clippers and did some trimming today.
Right-hander Clay Condrey was activated from the 15-day disabled list after going down with a left oblique strain, MLB.com reported.
Condrey, who pitched 33 games out of the bullpen before going down on June 23, currently holds a 4-2 record with a 3.71 ERA.
Fellow right-hander Tyler Walker was designated for assignment to make room for Condrey. The 33-year-old made nine appearances out of the Phillies' pen, pitching 11 innings while allowing two runs.
Before Walker was called up to the bigs, he pitched 15 games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley, going 2-1 with a 1.40 ERA. It remained unknown where his next stop would be.
