Chase Utley Suits Up for First Time Since Surgery

Utley goes 2 for 4 at bat

Guess who's back? Chase Utley! The Phillies second baseman played in a Minor League game Saturday.

It's his first game since the World Series and his hip surgery.

Utley went 2 for 4 with a double and a single. He also played four inning at second base.

He told MLB.com that he plans to be in the lineup April 5 for Opening Day.

"It's the same plan," Utley said. "As long as everything continues to go the way it has, the plan is to be out there."

Utley said it felt good to be out on the field again, although physically, he said his hip has "some room for improvement."
