Sicklerville, N.J.’s Jordan Burroughs is focused on one thing only -- Olympic gold.
The favorite to take home gold in 163-pound freestyle wrestling is so focused on it he even named his Twitter feed @AllISeeIsGold.
Well it seems that cosmic factors could be at work to ensure that Burroughs confidence remains sky high. Just check out what his fortune cookie said Wednesday.
“A golden egg of opportunity falls into your lap this month.”
Burroughs summed it up perfectly: “...Can't stop a man from his destiny!”
One problem, he might have received the fortune cookie a bit early! The gold medal round for his event isn’t held until August 10. Hopefully that golden month extends into August.
