The Chicago Cubs were already preparing for a pajama-themed plane ride home from Los Angeles on Sunday night, but pitcher Jake Arrieta ensured that it would be a party as he tossed a no-hitter in a 2-0 win over the Dodgers.
Predictably, the evening got fun in a hurry for the Cubs.
To start with, Arrieta arrived at his postgame press conference wearing a mustache-onesie. Here is a picture of the garment, along with the catcher that called Arrieta’s no-hitter:
