Injury Keeps Kournikova off Court in Phillly
A wrist injury sidelines her for Monday's visit

A wrist injury will keep Anna Kournikova off the court for Monday night's match at the King of Prussia Mall.
But the tennis star will still be signing autographs, doing her meet-and-greets with fans and sponsors and participating in clinics for the kids who come out.
Kournikov was scheduled to start play for the St. Louis Aces Monday on the World TeamTennis circuit. Her team plays the Philadelphia Freedoms July 6 at 8 p.m.
Kournikova is nursing her wrist injury with daily rehab along with a series of cortisone shots, but her doctor advised Kournikova to stay off the court next week to avoid any long-term or permanent damage.
“I am extremely disappointed that I won't be able to compete this year. As an athlete it’s always hard to deal with an injury, but I am still very excited to travel with my team and to fulfill my commitments surrounding the matches," she said.
And hey, Anna's not the only headliner in town. You can catch this year's Wimbledon winner for the women -- one way or the other. Venus Williams is here July 8, playing for the Freedoms and Serena visits the next week, July 13. She'll play against Philadelphia for the Washington Kastles.
Vintage tennis lovers can look forward to John McEnroe and Martina Navratilova.
Tickets are $15 for kids and $35 for adults.
