Stolen Gun Used in Attempted Robbery, Lawmaker Shootout

Harrisburg police say a stolen gun was used in an attempted holdup of two Pennsylvania state legislators that turned into a shootout.

Officer Paula Trovy said Friday that the 9 mm handgun had been reported stolen from a vehicle outside the city.

Four teenagers were arrested following Tuesday night's attempted robbery of state Reps. Marty Flynn and Ryan Bizzarro.

A 15-year-old boy who police say was pointing the gun fired one shot and Flynn fired twice from the pistol he was licensed to carry.

No one was injured.

Police say the same four youths admitted robbing three people as they left the state Capitol on Monday night, ordering them to the ground and taking valuables that included cellphones, computers and cash.
