Sick-Leave Advocates Rally in Philadelphia Ahead of Gov. Chris Christie Talk

Protesters upset with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's opposition to mandatory paid sick leave are gathering in Philadelphia, where he's scheduled to raise money for his political action committee.

About 20 protesters demonstrated in front of the Union League in downtown Philadelphia where Christie is expected to speak Wednesday night at a reception for his Leadership Matters for America PAC.

The PAC has been raising money to support a potential presidential bid.

Christie says paid sick days hurt the economy.

New Jersey Working Families Executive Director Analilia Mejia says Christie is ``100 percent wrong'' and needs to rethink his stance on an issue that she says is ``just basic common sense.''

Christie is bound for Texas for fundraisers Thursday and Michigan for a Lincoln Day dinner speech Friday.
