Round trip weekday services in and out of the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Amtrak Station in Wilmington will go past midnight and serve as a boost to the economy, said Wilmington Mayor Dennis Williams' Officer.

"I am encouraged to learn that SEPTA and DART have come together to expand SEPTA rail service and understand that the economy of Wilmington can and will be boosted when employees and residents can get back and forth to work and for entertainment later in the evenings,” said Mayor Williams.

The late-night service expands on Dec. 14.
