New Jersey officials are rolling back prescription copays for retired public retirees.
The move comes three months after an appeals court found that Gov. Chris Christie's administration had hiked the rates illegally in 2013.
The court found that retirees were forced to overpay by a total of $13.1 million for 2013 and 2014.
The rollback was first reported by NJ.com. It returns the copays to their 2012 levels. On top of that, the state will cut copays 80 to 100 percent from July through December to compensate retirees who have been overpaying.
The director of the New Jersey branch of the Communications Workers of American calls it a big win.
