Occupy Philly in Photos

The Occupy Philadelphia movement was forced out of Dilworth Plaza by police just after midnight Wednesday. The eviction caused streets to close and mass transit to shut down as protesters marched through city streets.

Occupy Philly started as a result of the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York City. On Nov. 2, 2011, police began arresting protesters during a sit-in they staged at the Comcast Center, NBCPhiladelphia.com's parent company.
