"Pocket Tweet" Strikes Again for Former Senator Scott Brown

It appears the "pocket tweet" has struck again for former U.S. Senator Scott Brown.

Brown's 64,000 Twitter followers got an undecipherable update Friday morning, when the well-known Republican politican tweeted a string of gibberish from his @SenScottBrown account, New England Cable News reported.

"Scaccia cv c@c@vc@c@cc@cc C@ cc@c c c cv@ cc@ @c cc#ccvvnmzc ?" the tweet read.

About 30 minutes later, Brown posted another message saying the previous tweet had been sent while he was out running.

"See what happens when you are out running and the phone is live? Anyone that says you cannot pocket tweet from these phones is wrong," the second tweet read.

This wasn't the first time Brown, a possible candidate for New Hampshire Senate this year and future presidential contender, blamed inadvertent typing for a bizarre tweet.

Last year, just months after losing his re-election bid to Democrat Elizabeth Warren, Brown generated buzz and inspired memes when he sent out a series of strange late-night tweets, including one that read only “Bqhatevwr.” Brown dismissed online speculation that he was drinking at the time of the later-deleted tweets, telling a Boston FOX affiliate that the missives were the result of a "pocket dial" that occurred after his daughter gave him a lesson on using the social media tool.

“I mean it was pretty simple. I have an iPhone 5. If anyone has iPhone 5, the keys are small. It’s very, very sensitive," he told FOX 25 at the time.
