The wife of philandering South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford said she Googled the woman her hubby was having an affair with to see what the other woman looked like.
"She's pretty," Jenny Sanford reportedly said.
The scorned wife and mother of four spoke to Vogue magazine about her husband's exotic love affair with an Argentine woman, saying she's trying to forgive her husband for "crossing the line" with another woman and claiming he was hiking the Appalachian Trail when he was actually in Buenos Aires visiting the woman in June.
"He was just obsessed with going to see this woman," Sanford told the magazine. "I have learned that these affairs are almost like an addiction to alcohol or pornography -- they just can't seem to break away from them."
Sanford said she prays for the other woman, a divorced mother of two. “Everybody would like an escape sometimes," Jenny said. "I’d like somebody 5,000 miles away I could E-mail. It’s not exclusive to men, but I know that isn’t realistic," she said.
