Police on Long Island say they've arrested a yeshiva student from Queens in connection with a series of anti-Semitic graffiti at a Long Island Rail Road station.

Jonathan Schuster, 18, of Far Rockaway, is accused of vandalizing billboards at the Cedarhurst LIRR station at least eight different times, Nassau and MTA police say.

The black-marker graffiti made anti-Semitic statements and used expletives.

Schuster is being charged with eight counts each of felony hate crime, misdemeanor criminal mischief and misdemeanor making graffiti.

Schuster is a senior at Priority-1: Torah Academy of Lawrence-Cedarhurst, a yeshiva in Nassau, police said.

A message was left with the school. It wasn't immediately clear if Schuster had an attorney.

The yearlong investigation included uniformed patrols and undercover detectives by both MTA and Nassau police. Police are still investigating several other incidents of anti-Semitic graffiti at LIRR stations, including at Lawrence and Hewlett stations.
