List of Recalls Related to Peanut Residue Grows

    These Famous Amos products are part of a Kellogg Company voluntary recall over flour that may contain undeclared peanut residue.

    Peanut residue accidently included in some of the country's most well-known snacks is creating a lengthening roster of recalls.

    Kellogg and Mars joined the list this week after supplier Grain Craft recalled certain lots of flour for undeclared peanut residue.

    Kellogg Co. is recalling some Mother's, Keebler, Kellogg's, Special K brownies, Murray and Famous Amos snacks and cookies. Mars Chocolate North America is recalling some Combos.

    Neither company has received reports of any illnesses related to the recalls.

    A McDonough, Georgia, Walmart is facing a backlash after an employe refused to make a "Blue Lives Matter" cake for a retiring police officer, and the story is going viral. The officer's daughter says it was a cake for the officer's retirement party after serving for 25 years. After a friend posted about the incident on Facebook, a manager called her to apologize and make the cake. Walmart's corporate communications department also issued an apology.     Hostess Brands earlier this month announced a related recall covering more than 700,000 cases of Ding Dongs, Zingers, Chocodiles and doughnuts sold in grocery, dollar, drug and convenience stores in the U.S. and Mexico.
