Hillary Clinton: I Refused to “Attack” Palin

Hillary Clinton told NBC News that the 2008 Obama presidential campaign had asked her to “attack” Sarah Palin the day she was selected for the GOP vice presidential ticket. Clinton refused the request. “I said, ‘Attack her for what — for being a woman? Attack her for being on a ticket that's trying to draw attention?” she recalled. Clinton later wrote about her exchange with the Obama campaign in her book “Hard Choices.” Check out Hillary Clinton's full interview on NBC’s "Nightly News" on Tuesday.
