Police Charge Delaware Woman With 5th DUI

A Wilmington woman was charged with her fifth DUI after she was stopped Friday afternoon for running a red light, Delaware State Police said.

Ann M. Baker, 54, was driving her red Ford Focus north on Harmony Rd. near Green Ridge Rd. when officers watched her run a red light. She was immediately pulled over and that's when police say they smelled alcohol on her, officers said.

Police performed a DUI investigation and pulled her driving record, which revealed four previous driving under the influence charges.

Baker was charged a fifth time. She was driving on a suspended license at time of the incident, according to officials.

She was released from custody after postingf $10K secured bond.
