“Kill Zimmerman” Scrawled at Pa. Arson Site

Investigators in suburban Philadelphia say the words "Kill Zimmerman" were found spray-painted on the side of a building set on fire a day after the verdict was announced in the Trayvon Martin trial in Florida.

Neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman was acquitted Saturday in the 2012 fatal shooting of Martin, who was unarmed. The verdict has sparked protests, vigils and arrests across the country.

The Daily Local News reports investigators in East Caln Township say the fire set at Pro Signs on the 200 block of Boot Road late Sunday night and has been ruled arson. Prosecutors say the words “Kill Zimmerman” were written in red spray-paint on the building.

No one was hurt and no arrests were immediately announced.

The investigation is ongoing and it wasn't immediately clear if the business was targeted. Damage is estimated around $500,000.
