Water is again safe to drink in Ventnor.
However, residents have been told to stay out of the bay and harbor following a sewer line break.
A contractor is working to repair the sewer main after an inflatable plug failed, allowing untreated sewage to leak into the canal on Friday.
Around the same time, Ventnor officials told residents to use bottled water because fecal coliform was detected in one of nine water samples.
Mayor Theresa Kelly told The Press of Atlantic City the ban was lifted Sunday after a new round of testing indicated no traces of bacteria.
