A man walking his dog in Philadelphia's East Mount Airy neighborhood made a frightening discovery Saturday morning: The body of a woman in a trash bag, covered by a blanket.
The woman's identity isn't yet known. Police were called to 1800 East Cliveden Street just before 9 a.m., they said.
A neighbor said the man who discovered the body went to dispose of dog waste when he saw the woman's foot.
The body could have been there for as much as a week, the neighbors said.
There have been no arrests yet in the case.
