    Police investigate the shooting of a woman on Bouvier Street on Oct. 29, 2013.

    A woman walking down the street became the latest victim of gunfire in the city overnight.

    The 25-year-old woman was walking along the 2300 block of N Bouvier Street in North Philadelphia around 10 p.m. Tuesday when she heard gunfire, according to Philadelphia Police.

    The unidentified woman was struck twice – once in the arm and once in the side, according to investigators.

    A private car rushed the woman to Temple University Hospital where she remained in stable condition.

    Police didn’t reveal a motive or any suspect(s) in the case.

    This shooting comes on the heels of a trio of deadly shootings in the city including one where a man was gunned down after being chased into a neighborhood store.
