Woman Sentenced in Wine Bottle Attack

A southern New Jersey woman is headed to state prison for her role in an attack where a woman was beaten with a wine bottle.

Savannah Tatton of Audubon received a five-year sentence on Friday. She also must pay at least part of the $100,000 in restitution that was awarded to the victim.

Gloucester County prosecutors say the 19-year-old Tatton admitted holding the victim while 28-year-old Heather Seehousz of Buena beat her in Glassboro in August 2012. A motive for the attack has not been disclosed, but authorities have said both women were initially charged with robbery and aggravated assault.

Tatton pleaded guilty in June to aggravated assault, while Seehousz has been admitted to the county's Drug Court program.
