A woman grabbed onto a tow truck in Philadelphia early Sunday morning, only to lose her grip and fall beneath its wheels.
The accident occurred on the 5100 block of Rochelle Avenue in the Wissahickon section of the city around 1 a.m., according to police.
Medics rushed the 29-year-old woman to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:11 a.m, according to officials.
It is unclear why the woman grabbed onto the tow truck. Police are investigating the incident.
The woman's name was not immediately released.
