A 55-year-old woman was getting ready to make a night deposit at Beneficial Bank late Friday when she was robbed.
It happened around 10:00 p.m. on the 2500 block of Aramingo Avenue in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.
Police say the armed man came up behind the woman, who was carrying $20,000 dollars in cash.
He took off with the money in a dark-colored Chevy Suburban, according to police.
Police are searching for the armed robber.
