Woman Killed in Del. Pedestrian Crash

Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman who was running across a road in Wilmington.

Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman who was running across a road in Wilmington.

Police say a 37-year-old Mary Jane Stebner, of Townsend, DE, was running across Concord Pike around 7:51 p.m. Thursday night when she was struck by an SUV. Stebner was taken to Christiana Hospital where she died.

Police identified the driver as 76-year-old Carl Golden of Wilmington. He was not injured. No charges have been filed in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
