A crabber found a woman's body floating in the Delaware River Monday morning.

On Thursday, Delaware State Police identified the body as a Virginia woman..

Delaware City firefighters pulled the unidentified body from the water near Salem Cove south of Pea Patch Island -- that’s a short distance northwest of Delaware City and about six miles south of the Delaware Memorial Bridge -- around 6:30 a.m. Monday

The woman's body was turned over to the medical examiner to determine her identity and possibly how she died.

Authorities determined the 31-year-old Vienna, Va. woman, who's name wasn't released, jumped from the Delaware Memorial Bridge on Saturday.
