Police say a young Pennsylvania woman is facing charges for intentionally running down her ex-girlfriend with a car.
Bethlehem police say 18-year-old Estivalis Jamie struck 19-year-old Ashley Sanchez on Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators say Sanchez was crossing the street near where Jamie was stopped at a traffic light. Jamie allegedly drove up and bumped Sanchez, knocking her to the ground, then drove away.
Jamie was charged with aggravated assault and reckless driving and released on bail. Sanchez was treated for minor injuries and released from a hospital.
A phone number for Jamie could not immediately be located. It was not clear if she had an attorney.
