Investigators say it happened when the woman bent over to pick up her cell phone off the platform at the Market-Frankford Station at 56th and Market Streets

Woman Hit by SEPTA Train

A woman is hospitalized after she was hit by a SEPTA Train Saturday.

Police were called Market-Frankford Station at 56th and Market Streets shortly after midnight.

SEPTA officials tell NBC10.com the train struck the woman as she bent over to pick up her cell phone.

There is no word on her condition at this time.
