Woman Hit, Dragged by Septa Bus: Police

The victim's right leg was crushed in the Tuesday night accident

A 67-year-old woman has been hit by a bus in Philadelphia.

Police say a SEPTA bus struck the woman as she crossed a street in the Olney section of the city.

Authorities say the woman was trapped underneath the bus. It dragged her about 20 feet before it stopped.

The victim was taken to a hospital. Police say her right leg was crushed in the accident.
 
The Philadelphia Daily News reports police continue to investigate.
