Woman Held Captive and Beaten for Three Days: Police

Police have arrested a woman after another woman ran naked into a central Pennsylvania store saying she'd been held captive for days and beaten with a baseball bat and fire extinguisher, among other things.

Officers responded to the Pottsville business Tuesday morning and found the Mechanicsville woman wrapped in a sheet with numerous cuts and bruises.

The woman said she was restrained and beaten by 47-year-old Holly Ann Rhode- ho was also at the business- inside Rhode's Pottsville apartment. The woman said Rhode took her clothes and deprived her of basic necessities.

Police haven't released a motive, but say they found enough evidence to charge her with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint and other crimes.

Rhode remained jailed Friday and her attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
