Police: Woman Trapped and Cut Inside Tanning Bed

A woman in Montgomery County gets trapped in a tanning bed.
A young woman's trip to the tanning salon turned into a 9-1-1 call Tuesday night when she got trapped and then cut inside the tanning bed, according to Upper Gwynedd police.
The woman was in a stand-up bed. She told police one of the bulbs broke and when she tried to get out, more bulbs burst and she ended up with several cuts.
But the California Sun Tanporium salon in Lansdale says that's not exactly how she got hurt.
The salon said the bulb broke when the woman got disoriented inside the tanning bed and started banging on the door, not the other way around.
Someone called 9-1-1 and when EMS arrived, they were able to get the woman, 24, out of the tanning bed. She was treated at Lansdale Hospital.
