Police are investigating a Camden County fire that injured a woman, child and firefighter.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. at a home on the 100 block of Cedarbrook Road in Winslow Township. Authorities arrived at the home after receiving an initial report stating a resident was trapped inside. When they arrived however, they found a woman and her 3-year-old child outside of the house.
The woman was flown to Jefferson Hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. Her child was taken to Virtua Hospital for observation. Police also say a Winslow Township firefighter suffered minor burns to his hand.
No word yet on the cause of the blaze.
