Police identified the suspect in the attack as Thomas Young who they say is a relative of the victim.

Woman Stabbed in the Throat by Relative: Police

Police have identified a man who they suspect attacked and stabbed a woman several times inside a Hatfield home.

Officers were called to the 300 block of Wheatfield Circle around 1 a.m. Police say the woman was cut in the throat and face by a man before he ran from the scene.

The woman was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she is listed in stable condition, according to authorities.

Police identified the suspect in the attack as Thomas Young. Investigators also say Young is a relative of the victim. The Hatfield Township Police Department obtained an arrest warrant charging Young with attempted murder, aggravated assault, harassment and other related offenses.
