Wrong Way: Woman, 80, Critical Following Crash

A serious accident involving a car and pick-up truck has left an 80-year-old woman in critical condition Tuesday.

The woman drove the wrong way down the 100 block of Center Road in New Castle, Del., hitting a pick-up truck head on. 

The truck was pushed off the side of the road.

The woman’s car burst into flames and she was trapped inside for more than an hour, NBC 10 sources said.

A medevac was on the scene and flew her to Christiana Hospital.

She is in critical condition.
