Wisconsin Rep Paul Ryan Mocks Christie After Cowboys Loss

Even though he represents Wisconsin, U.S. Rep Paul Ryan (R) may have just gained new supporters in New Jersey thanks to a tweet directed at Governor Chris Christie moments after the Packers defeated the Cowboys in the NFL playoffs Sunday.

The tweet referred to the Cowboys playoff victory over the Detroit Lions where Christie was seen hugging Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Both Ryan and Christie were spotted at the game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin Sunday. Christie exchanged a hug and handshake with Jones during warmups about 45 minutes before kickoff for the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. He wore a blue Cowboys scarf with a dark winter coat.

Jones had  referred to Christie as his team's "mojo" because Dallas had won the last five games Christie attended wearing the orange sweater for good luck. That good luck ended Sunday however as the Packers defeated the Cowboys 26-21, ending their season.

Christie had picked the Cowboys to win 38-28. During the game, he sat once again in the owners box with Jones.

Before he went upstairs, Christie posed for pictures on the Dallas sideline near the 35-yard line. He walked off the field and entered the Packers' tunnel behind Green Bay running back Eddie Lacy before heading to his seat.

Christie had faced ethical questions since his office disclosed that Jones had been paying for Christie's box seats and private jet flights. Christie's office has said the governor was paying his own way this time to Green Bay.

The governor's passion for the Cowboys also has drawn outrage from fans in New Jersey of the Eagles, Giants and Jets. They're angered he isn't backing one of the area's teams.
