A driver lost control of her pickup after it skidded on ice along a South Jersey road overnight.
Teresa Odom lost control of her red pickup truck while driving east along Blue Anchor Road in Winslow Township around 11:30 Sunday night and crashed into some trees.
The roadway was icy at the time, said police.
Crews had to ply the door off Odom’s truck to get to the Sicklerville, New Jersey woman. Medics transported the 5-year-old to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said police.
Crews cleared the crash and reminded motorists to take it easy along ice-covered streets.
