A Delaware teenager wound up hospitalized after being shot in the head late Tuesday night.
A bullet grazed the 17-year-old boy’s head after gunfire rang out around 10:30 p.m. along the 300 block N DuPont Street in Wilmington.
Medics transported the boy to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
Wilmington Police said a preliminary investigation showed that the boy was standing on the block when he was shot.
Police didn’t reveal a motive and had no suspects.
The violent night continued in Wilmington when two men burst into a home along the 400 block of N Monroe Street around 11:40 p.m. and opened fire. The resident were shot and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Investigators said that one victim fled the scene on foot as did the suspects.
