A young Delaware girl is recovering after she was shot in the knee Monday night.
The 6-year-old girl was on the 800 block of Bennett Street around 6:30 p.m. when a gunman opened fire. The girl was struck at least once in the right knee.
The girl was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and police have not yet released a description of any suspects.
