Suspects Rob Montgomery County Chipotle

Robbers struck a popular Mexican food chain in Montgomery County over the weekend, taking money and phones, but no burritos.

The robbers struck the Chipotle on Moreland Road in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania after 11 p.m. on Oct. 10, as the manager was taking cardboard out to the recycling bin at the end of the night, said Abington Township Police Department website.

Two male robbers confronted and threatened the manager, said police. The men never indicated having weapons as they demanded that the manager take them to the safe.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and two cordless phones from the office. They then instructed the manager to stay in the office and left out the back door. Nobody was injured.

Investigators described the first suspect is described as wearing a black puffy vest, a gray T-shirt, a black long sleeve compression shirt and dark pants. He also wore a black baseball cap with gray brim, and a black “hard plastic mask” that covered the lower portion of his face.

Investigators described the other suspect as wearing a black ‘letterman style’ jacket with gray sleeves and dark pants. He appeared to have a dark cloth wrapped around his head so that only his eyes were exposed, said police.
