The famous Philadelphian is helping out a local school in the area where he was "born and raised."

Will Smith, with some help from friend Charlie Mack, donated 30 Apple computers to West Philly High School to replace laptops that were stolen last month.

Police have found the alleged student thieves and charged them with theft, but have only been able to recover about half of the 60 stolen computers.

The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation teamed up with the Charlie Mack Cares organization to replace the remaining missing computers by donating 29 Apple laptops and one desktop.

Smith, a West Philly native himself, wasn't able to visit the school in person, but Mack, a local community activist and longtime assistant and friend of Smith, delivered the computers to the school on Friday.

Mack dropped of the machines and also took time to talk to some students.
