Drink Up on the Wildwood Boardwalk

Boardwalk becomes alcohol-friendly

This New Jersey boardwalk just got even more interesting and this time the newest edition isn't for kids.

Already labeled as one of the kid-friendliest boardwalk because of its water-parks and roller coasters, this boardwalk now has another reason other than the beach to attract an older crowd.

Friday marks the first day Wildwoods boardwalk will pour its first glass of alcohol to visitors -- adults 21 and over of course.

With the recent expansion of liquor licenses that include boardwalk businesses, Wildwood took full advantage of this opportunity to appeal to tourists of all ages. Alcoholic beverages will be served on the boardwalk between 10 a.m. and midnight.

Some of the first drinks were poured at Captain Jack's restaurant on Hunt's Pier.

Head out to Wildwood to enjoy the party lights and a nice cocktail on the boardwalk and remember -- don’t drink and swim.
