Runner Loses, Finds Wedding Ring at Blue Cross Broad Street Run

Update: A runner has claimed his ring. NBC10's Keith Jones returned the ring to David Copestakes Monday night.

We are trying to make a love connection!

A wedding ring was found Sunday along Broad Street during the 36th Annual Blue Cross Broad Street race.

We don't know if it belongs to a runner, a fan or maybe even somebody who wasn't involved at all in the race.

A Philadelphia police officer picked the ring up near the starting line, where 40,000 runners began the 10 miler.

If it's your wedding ring, or you know someone who lost their ring, have them call NBC10 at 610-668-5701.

There are specific markings on the inner band that we will use to identify the owner.
