Freezing cold temperatures have caused a city water main to break in the city's Torresdale section.
The main ruptured in the early morning hours Monday under Holme Avenue at Willits Road, Philadelphia Water Department officials said.
Police closed the intersection as PWD crews work to repair the leak.
