A water main break in Chester County shut down roads in East Whiteland Township early Monday morning.
The main break shut down Swedesford Road between Church Road and Phoenixville Pike about 4:30 a.m. Gallons of water poured into the roadway, creating icy conditions in the frigid temperatures.
The break was fixed and the roadway was reopened by Tuesday morning.
