The Vine Street Expressway was temporarily shut down after a two-vehicle accident.
Police say the two-car accident accident occurred Sunday morning near the intersection of 24th Street in Center City.
Police reported that one of the vehicles involved was overturned, while the other was sitting on the highway divider.
Three people were transported to Hahnemann University Hospital with serious injuries. There is no immediate word of their identities or the extent of their injuries.
