2 Arrested for ‘Assaulting Police Horse,' 4 Arrested for Disorderly Conduct During Villanova Celebration: Police

Radnor Township Police say eight people were arrested while Villanova fans were celebrating the Wildcats' dominant Final Four win over Oklahoma.

Two of the people were arrested for "assaulting a police horse," while four others were arrested for disorderly conduct, police said. Police also told NBC10 the four people charged with disorderly conduct may have set fires during the celebration. Police have not yet revealed why the remaining two people were arrested.

Route 30 was closed between Route 320 (Sproul Road) and Airdale Road due to the celebrations. It later reopened. The Blue Route (I-476) was also closed at Exit 13 in both directions but later reopened.
