Vacant Philly Home Engulfed in Flames

Crews worked to contain a fire that engulfed a vacant Philadelphia home Thursday morning and began spreading to neighboring homes on the block.

Firefighters responded to reports of heavy flames in the unoccupied house at the corner of Ruth and Clearfield streets in the city's Kensington neighborhod around 6 a.m.

The blaze spread to at least one other adjacent property before it was put out around 7 a.m., according to reports.

There are no reported injuries.
