A driver lost control and slammed into a utility pole — causing it to split in half — along a Delaware County road early Tuesday.
The crash along the 100 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue in Newtown Square shortly around 3 a.m. left the unidentified driver hurt, said Newtown Township Police.
It also caused wires to come crashing down onto the snowy street.
Investigators searched for a cause as crews worked to clear the scene Tuesday morning.
