Weeks Later, Search Resumes for Missing Woman Lindsey Piccone in Tyler State Park

Weeks after the search for a missing Bucks County woman closed a Pennsylvania state park, searchers returned to the park in hopes of uncovering clues about Lindsey Marie Piccone's whereabouts.

Various state and local agencies planned to descend on Tyler State Park along Swamp Road in Newtown Thursday morning as they resumed the search for the missing Bensalem woman, said Bensalem Township Police Department Lt. William McVey.

Piccone was reported missing on Sept. 6, said officials. Piccone, 21, did not have her cellphone with her or her beloved and was last seen two days earlier, according to investigators.

Piccone, who stands around 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, was wearing a black tank top when she went missing, said Bensalem Police. [[392640601, C]]

Family members said Piccone’s car was found at Tyler State Park where search groups scoured the 1,711-acre park for days in early September, causing closures and hassles for parkgoers.

Police asked that any first responders (no general public) who wanted to join in the search for Piccone to report to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources parking lot on Swamp Road, said police. [[392810801, C]]
