Delaware State Police say two men who saw a robbery chased down the suspect and held him until police came.

It happened about 6:10 p.m. Wednesday at the M&T Bank in Claymont. Troopers say a woman was walking toward the bank to make a deposit of checks and cash from a local business.

Police say a man grabbed the woman, put her in headlock and threw her to the ground. Officers say he snatched the envelope she was carrying with the money and ran off.

Troopers say two men got out of a van and chased the suspect. Police say he was quickly captured, and the men left without identifying themselves when troopers arrived.

Thirty-five-year-old Terron Williams of Wilmington was arrested and charged with robbery.
